The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefore, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.  The point of operation was not guarded as required.      a) Workplace, 35 Marcus Blvd. Hauppauge NY - Employee was operating a Weston electric meat grinder, model #08-2201-w, with the tray/safety guard removed; on or about 8/11/15.      Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
