29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) The employer had not developed and implemented a respiratory protection program for the employee using a 3M half mask cartridge respirator while spraying an isocyanate containing truck bed liner product. An effective respiratory protection program includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) A written program describing how the respiratory program will be administered and what respiratory protection is needed by employees. 2) A medical evaluation program. 3) Respirator fit testing for tight-fitting face piece respirators. 4) Respirator usage procedures. 5) Maintenance and care of respirator procedures. 6) Maintenance and care of the breathing air system. 7) Employee training on the care and usage of respiratory protection. 8) Respiratory protection program evaluate. 9) Voluntary respiratory protection usage guidelines.
