29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) On or about 8/13/15, at the site of 129 Ridge Road. Douglaston, NY  Employees working on an unprotected second floor opening were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10 ft. to the first floor.  ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

Douglaston, NY  Employees installing a new pitch roof were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 24 ft. to the ground below.  ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

LIC, NY    Employees were using an A-frame ladder on the scaffolds for gain access to the roof. The ladder was folded in leaning against the eaves.    ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
