29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: a) Jobsite, 1201 Buena Vista Street, Pittsburgh, PA - On or about August 13, 2015, employees were removing shingles and installing a new roof underlay on a multi-level residential dwelling and were not protected from falling. The fall hazard to the employees were approximately 47 feet from peak to ground. The roof pitch was approximately 12/12.
