29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest: a) At the jobsite: Two employees were observed about 13 feet above ground level on the canopy roof over an entrance way of a building conducting roof work activities without a fall protection system. Employees were exposed to fall hazards on or about August 13, 2015. CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION NOT REQUIRED. J & M Construction Specialty, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315560136, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 5, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 219 Park Plaza, Altoona, PA 16602.
