29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use. On the north side of the construction site, employees installing material on a commercial building, worked from a trash box elevated by a Genie GTH-1056 forklift that was not approved by the forklift manufacture, exposing the employees to a fall and crushed-by hazard.
