29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or before August 11,2015, the riding lawnmower in use had the guard bungee corded in the up position thereby exposing the operator and worker, who was weed whacking, to grass and/or debris discharge, at the site located at 1731 Saddlewood Ave, Akron, Ohio, 44313.
