29 CFR 1910.255(b)(4): All press welding machine operations, where there was a possibility of the operator's fingers being under the point of operation, were not effectively guarded by use of a device such as an electronic eye safety circuit, two hand controls or protection similar to that prescribed for punch press operation, 1910.217: On or about August 17, 2015, the following five electric spot welders lacked point of operation guarding: a. Taylor-Winfield (D59564) in the Spot Weld Department, b. McCreery Corp model A1-100-36-S (21515) in Stationary Welders, c. Taylor-Winfield model ENC-18-100 (69171) in the Spot Weld Department, d. Acme Electric Welder model 3-24-75 (13556) in the Biro Department, and e. Acme Electric Welder (14375) in the Class 6 Department.
