29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width (see Appendix A to subpart M of this part), the use of a safety monitoring system alone [i.e. without the warning line system] is permitted: location: roof on or about: 8/13/15 a) Employees engaged in roofing activities, were not provided with adequate means of fall protection. The employees were exposed to a fall of up to 31 feet. S&S Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315555862, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/29/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 45 South Main St. Branford, CT 06405.
