29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about August 20, 2015, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations twenty one (21) feet and two (2) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. The Krzysztof Kobylarczyk was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 906175, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Laporte Meadows, Lily Court Lot #33, Frankfort, IL 60423. The Krzysztof Kobylarczyk was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 423664, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 4841 W. Columbus Drive in Oak Lawn, IL.
