29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. (a) Building, West Side - On or about August 19, 2015 an employee was exposed to a falling object hazard. An employee on this construction site was not wearing a hardhat while other employees were working above this employee chipping out cinder blocks.
