29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: (a) Batch Room Compressor Level: Employees access the compressor for routine maintenance work. The employee uses a hook on portable ladder to access the steel beam and then walk the beam to reach the required areas. The employee was exposed to a fall approximately 75 inches from the top of the steel beam to the lowest portion of the ground, as determined on or about 08/24/2015. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
