Ryan Ross did not provide abatement certification for the hazards of employees were not protected from falls while performing roofing activities and employees were not trained on fall protection requirements outlined in 29CFR 1926.503.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  On or about 08-26-15, an employee was working on a steep pitched roof at approximately seventeen (17) feet above surface level without utilizing fall protection equipment.

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer.  a)  On or about 08-26-15, employer did not provide written certification of required fall protection safety training for an employee working at heights greater than six (6) feet.  One employee was working on an 8:12 pitch roof at approximately 17 ft. above surface level without utilizing fall protection equipment.
