29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(F): Temporary lights were suspended by their electric cords when such lights and cords were not designed for suspension: a) Worksite: The electrical subcontractor had job-made all the temporary lighting with the insulated wires of the light sockets directly spliced into ROMEX cord and secured with wire nuts and tape. The lighting covered three floors and was located not only in the ceiling area, but down support posts in each stairway.
