29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(F): Temporary lights were suspended by their electric cords when such lights and cords were not designed for suspension: a) Worksite: The employer had job-made all the temporary lighting with the insulated wires to the light sockets which were directly spliced into ROMEX cord and secured with wire nuts and tape. The lighting covered three floors and was located not only in the ceiling area, but down support posts in each stairway.
