On or about September 1, 2015, employees accessing an elevated platform, located between the shredder and mechanical room, to perform repairs on the shredder were exposed to an approximate ten foot fall hazard. The employer did not ensure fall protection was available and used while on the platform.    Employees accessed the platform through a door and staged a ladder on the platform to reach portions of the shredder.
