NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 9/01/15, on the Oncology Center construction site at 3021 Orchard Park Rd., Orchard Park, NY: An employee was exposed to a fall of 10 ft. 9 in. while walking on the top of the concrete block wall being erected. The employee was removing tools and debris from the top of the wall and no fall protection system was utilized. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
