29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Jones Reserve Subdivision: 5353 Jones Reserves Walk, Powder Springs, GA.: An employee was using a Hitachi Strip Nailer (Model NR83A2-S, 3 1/4-inch) to nail down roof sheathing on a 6/12 pitch roof and were exposed to falls of approximately 20 feet to the ground. The employer did not ensure that PFAS (Personal Fall Arrest System) was used.
