29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders was not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: a) Welding area: On or about September 3, 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to fire hazards from oxygen cylinders and fuel gas (acetylene) cylinders which were stored unsecured near the entryway used by forklifts and employees. The cylinders could be knocked over by forklifts.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour: (a) Welding area: On or about September 3, 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that an employee was allowed to work in the same area where oxygen cylinders and fuel gas (acetylene) cylinders were stored together without a noncombustible barrier as required by the standard. Amtech Southeast LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941967, citation number 1, item number 7 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1142 State Hwy 14, Elmore, Alabama, 36025.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical (a)Building #10: On or about September 3, 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards from acetone by failing to ensure that each container of acetone in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof for hazard warnings. Employees used unlabeled container with acetone for cleaning rollers and gloves. Acetone is extremely flammable liquid and vapor. Vapors may cause flash fire or explosion. Vapors may cause skin and eye irritation. Amtech Southeast LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943870, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 1142 State Hwy 14, Elmore, Alabama, 36025.
