29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. On or about August 12, 2015, the employer did not provide fall protection to his employees when working on top of the framing of the building under construction. Employees were exposed to a fall of at least 6 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not ensure each employee exposed to fall hazards was provided training by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) On August 12, 2015 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure his employees were provided with training on recognition of fall hazards. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of over 6 feet to the ground below.
