29 CFR 1926.1417(o)(1): The equipment must not be operated in excess of its rated capacity. On or about September 8, 2015, at the Water Street Parking Garage in Dayton, Ohio the employer did not ensure that the crane operator operating a RT 625, Serial Number 43882, 30 Ton Grove Truck Crane exceeded the rated load capacity of the crane when lifting a one yard concrete bucket for a sidewalk pour based upon the weight of the wet concrete in the one yard concrete bucket, boom length and boom angle, based upon the load chart located in the cab of the crane.
