CFR 1926.1402(b): The equipment was assembled or used without ensuring that ground conditions are firm, drained, and graded to a sufficient extent so that, in conjunction (if necessary) with the use of supporting materials, the equipment manufacturer's specifications for adequate support and degree of level of the equipment are met. a) On or about September 14, 2015, the operator of the crane did not ensure that the ground conditions on which he assembled his Terex T220 crane were firm, drained, and graded to a sufficient extent so that the crane manufacturer's specifications for adequate support and degree of level were met.
