29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Timberline Builders and Remodeling/Steeple Glen Homes- On or about September 15, 2015, the employer did not ensure his employees were wearing any fall protection while enclosing the roof over newly constructed single family homes. The employees were observed working on the roof's edge which is approximately 12-15 feet from ground level.
