29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es): a) On or about September 15, 2015 the employer failed to ensure that effective point of operation guarding was in place on the non-operator side of press line #c60. Employees were working on the exit side of the press removing parts from the conveyor system without effective guarding in place. b) On or about September 15, 2015 the employer failed to ensure that effective point of operation guarding was in place on the non-operator side of press line #c50. Employees were working on the exit side of the press troubleshooting the retrieval mechanism without effective guarding in place.
