29 CFR 1926.1101(d)(3): The employer of employees who were exposed to asbestos hazards did not comply with applicable protective provisions to protect such employees: a) Little Sisters of the Poor Boiler Room - On or about May 28, 2015, employees ran pipes to new boilers and toilets while subcontractor employees performed demolition work and conducted Class 1 asbestos removal of thermal system insulation containing 15% to 30% Amosite asbestos and the employer did not remove them from the area or perform an initial exposure assessment pursuant to (f) of this section [1926.1101(d)(3)]. Thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with asbestos.
