29 CFR 1926.858(d): Structural members being dismembered were overstressed.     Location: 14 Brewster Road, Newark, NJ (Newark Liberty International Airport).    a)  The non-approved wedges/cuts performed by the demolition subcontractor (CATCO Demolition Services) on the columns' flanges weakened and/or overstressed the structural members of hangar 14 leading to its collapse.  Employees were exposed to a crush hazard when the hangar suddenly collapsed while employees were performing the work.  Employer was aware of the subcontractor's works and did not stop the operation; on or about 9/9/15.
