29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely: Location: Front porch roof, 154 West Cedar Street, Norwalk, CT 06854 The strength and structural integrity of the front porch roof was not evaluated and determined prior to roofing work being performed on the roof. Consequently, On or About September 21, 2015, the front porch separated from the main house structure resulting in two individuals falling eight (8) feet to the ground.
