29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(i): The employer has a workplace or operation covered by this standard and did not initially determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level. a) 411 E State St., Meridian, Idaho 83646: On or about September 22, 2015 and at times prior to, employees were painting the window casings, window aprons and window sills of a 1930 era home. Employees were required to manually scrape lead-based paint from the casings, aprons and sills before beginning the painting phase of the project, and a determination of exposure levels had not been performed. Abatement certification IS required.

29 CFR 1926.62(l)(1)(iii): The employer did not provide the training program as initial training prior to the time of job assignment or prior to the start up date for this requirement, whichever comes last. a) 411 E State St., Meridian, Idaho 83646: On or about September 22, 2015, and at times prior to, the employer did not brief employees or train employees on the hazards of handling lead-based paint or what personal protective measures and equipment were necessary to protect employees before beginning manual scraping of lead-based paint on a 1930 era home. Note: Abatement certification IS required.
