29 CFR 1910.269(l)(3)(iii): The employer shall ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance, unless protected from contact with energized circuits: On or about September 16, 2015, an employee changing out a 7620 volt AC transformer at jobsite located near the intersection of US Highway 50 and Road G, 16 miles east of Syracuse, Kansas was exposed to electrical shock hazards. The employer did not ensure that electrical gloves were used at all times when working near energized circuits.
