29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about September 22, 2015, at Lot 56, 6035 Read Road, Suwanee, Georgia:  a) Two employees performing framing work at the rear unprotected edge of a house were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 31-feet when they installed decking on an approximately 7/12 slope roof without using fall protection.   b) An employee performing framing work at the front unprotected edge of a house was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 24-feet when he installed decking on an approximately 7/12 slope roof without using fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(i): A snaphook not of the locking type was engaged (i) directly to webbing, rope or wire rope; (ii) to each other (iii) to a Dee-ring to which another snaphook or other connector is attached;(iv) to a horizontal lifeline; or (v) to any objectwhich is incompatibly shaped or dimensioned in relation to the snaphook such that unintentional disengagement could occur by the connected object being able to depress the snaphook keeper and release itself.  On or about September 22, 2015, at Lot 56, 6035 Read Road, Suwanee, Georgia:  An employee performing framing work at the front unprotected edge of a house with an approximately 7/12 slope roof was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 24-feet when he attached the snap hook of his lifeline directly to the rope of the lifeline.
