OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being caught in rotating parts. Location: 50 Heatherdale Road, Ardsley, NY 10502 On or about 7-31-2015 a) The Ridgid model 300 pipe threading machine did not have a momentary contact device that would cause the machine to stop in an emergency such as if the employees clothing became entangled around rotating machine parts or the rotating pipe.
