29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a.) IAC Sidney, LLC located at 2000 Schlater Rd. Sidney, OH; The employer did not assure employees were protected while using the doffer roller stand. On September 17, 2015, an employee was deburring a roller with a grinding stone when his glove was caught in the blades, causing him to be pulled over the roller, resulting in lacerations to the palm, forearm and underneath the upper arm.
