29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):       a) At the jobsite:  Employees were performing residential roofing activities at least 17 feet 11 inches above ground level on an estimated 4 in 12 pitch roof without the use of a fall protection system. Employees were exposed to fall hazards on or about September 24, 2015.                                   CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:        a) At the jobsite: Two employees were working on the ground at a residential roofing jobsite without head protection. The employees were exposed to head injuries from falling objects on or about September 24, 2015.                                                              ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
