29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 268 Cold Spring Rd., West Springfield, MA: On or about September 25, 2015, an employee was sheathing this roof , more than 19 feet above the ground below without any fall protection. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1). Modesto Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 B 1, which was contained in OSHA inspection number315513127, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 27, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 16 Hopkins Pl., Longmeadow, MA.
