29 CFR 1910.27(f): Ladders were not maintained in a safe condition or inspected regularly:  Boston Logan International Airport:  Employees were exposed to slip and trip hazards while climbing damaged and defective ladders that were unstable:  a) Terminal A Delta Baggage Conveyor Room, Make Up Area - metal ladders CS-1 and TC-2 used to access the X-Ray machines on the mezzanine level had a damaged leg. b) Terminal A Delta Baggage Conveyor Room, far end of Conveyor Room - metal ladder TC-1 used to access an x-ray machine on the mezzanine level had a damaged leg.  The Transportation Security Administration was previously cited in Region I, for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.27(f), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #885583, Serious Citation Number 1, Item 6, issued on 8/5/2013 and affirmed as a final order on 9/19/2013, with respect to a workplace located at Boston Logan International Airport, 2 Service Road, East Boston, MA.
