On or about September 28, 2016, employees engaged in steel erection work activities were exposed to struck by hazards when the employer did not ensure that the steel joists were secured to prevent unintentional displacement prior to installation.  The employer had placed twenty-eight steel joists without securing the joists to the supporting wall structures.     Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
