29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a) Charter Oak Avenue, Hartford, CT. Job Site - On or about 10-6-15 - Employee was exposed to a fall hazard by using a six foot shock absorbing lanyard while working in an aerial lift 12 to 18 feet above the ground. The lanyard rigged to the anchorage point on the aerial lift would allow the employee to fall out of the basket.
