29 CFR 1926.760(c)(2): Access to a controlled decking zone (CDZ) was not limited to those employees engaged in leading edge work. a) 3771 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY - An employee who was not engaged in leading edge work walked into a controlled decking zone on the roof of a commercial building and fell through deteriorated work surface; on, or about, 10/06/2015. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

The employee was not familiar with the purpose of a controlled decking zone; on, or about, 10/06/2015. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
