On or about October 2, 2015, at the South One dock area, while conducting cargo unloading operations of Motor Vessel Sunrise an employee was positioned in a way that the employee was not clear of a load of steel plates that was suspended by a vessel crane and resulted in the crushing and eventual amputation of the employees left hand middle finger when it was struck by the load.
