29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low- or flat roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems or a combination of an adequate warning line system and safety monitoring system. On the north side of the building, employees were placing roofing materials in various locations on the roof without using any type of fall protection, exposing employees to falls of more than 6 feet to the ground below.
