29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: a) Worksite, 486 Ridgewood Ave., Glen Ridge, NJ Workers failed to use fall protection when performing slate roofing shingle removal and installation of roofing paper with a fall from the 2nd story roof eave edge of approximately 20 feet, and a fall from the roof ridge of approximately 25 feet. Violation observed on or about 10-8-15 Liberty Home Improvements, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314600446 , citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 11-2-2010, with respect to a workplace located at 27 Douglas Road, Rockaway, NJ.
