29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts:  a. On or about 10/20/2105 at the RWC line, Employees were observed working at the RWC line while exposed to being caught in the moving parts of the conveyor while removing rejected parts.  The conveyor system was not guarded at the reject/drop off station.  Employees walking in the area of the reject/drop off station were exposed to being struck by rejected parts ejected from the conveyor when bouncing from the reject bin. There was no barrier or other guarding method in place to prevent employees from being struck or reaching into the conveyor to remove a part that did not properly eject.  b. On or about 10/20/2015 at the RWC line, employees are exposed to caught-in hazards while loading the tubes into the fixtures, the employees hold the tubes in place until the clamps close.   c. On or about 9/23/2105 at the RWC loading station, an employee suffered an amputation of his left index finger to the first joint while reaching into the conveyor to retrieve a rejected part that was not properly ejected prior to reaching his position. There was no guarding in place to prevent his hands from entering between the oil drip pan and the improperly ejected part.
