29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(1)(ii)(A): The employer did not ensure that medical evaluations and procedures including the hepatitis B vaccine and vaccination series, post-exposure evaluation, or follow-up, including prophylaxis, were made available at no cost to the employee: (a) On or about October 13, 2015 while working on behalf of the Naval Support Activity, two firefighter paramedics were potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens for which they received a medical evaluation. The two firefighter paramedics and AFGE local 1415 had not received payment from the Naval Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services for their medical bills, lost medical time, mileage, attorney costs, or any other relevant costs incurred related to the two bloodborne pathogen incidents.
