29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iii): The repair splice in a hard service flexible cord No. 12 or larger did not retain the insulation, outer sheath properties, and usage characteristics of the cord which was being used: On or about October 16, 2015 and in times prior thereto the 480 volt power cord energizing the tower crane had some of the outer sheath insulation removed. This condition created an electrical hazard at the construction site.
