29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." An employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about October 2nd, 2015 and at times prior employees were exposed to a 24 foot fall hazard while shingling a 6 x 12 pitch roof in the vicinity of 4760 Timber Creek Parkway in Fargo, North Dakota.
