29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(i): Until the employer performed an employee exposure assessment, as required in 29 CFR 1926.62(d), and documented that the employees performing any of the listed tasks was not exposed above the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), the employer did not treat affected employees as if they were exposed above the PEL, and not in excess of ten times the PEL, and did not implement employee protective measures prescribed in 29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(v):    (a)  Fraser Painting Company @ 4447 Newton Street, Denver CO 80211 : On or before October 20, 2015, the employer did not determine lead exposure levels prior to assigning employees to strip lead-containing paint layers from the exterior of the house.  Four paint chip samples were collected at the site and all four samples tested positive for lead, with results ranging up to 10% lead.  Employees were scraping and sanding lead-based paint. This condition exposed employees to airborne lead hazards.
