29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E): Lamps used in temporary wiring for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage. (a) Worksite was located at 212 Third Street, Jersey City, NJ 07032. Temporary lighting string in the basement had open cages exposing bulbs to accidental breakage and in one socket, a broken bulb exposing employees to an accidental shock hazard. Violation was observed on or about 10/8/2015.

29 CFR 1926.405(j)(1)(i): Fixtures, lampholders, lamps, rosettes, or receptacles had live parts normally exposed to employee contact. (a) Worksite was located at 212 Third Street, Jersey City, NJ 07032. An electrical outlet box in the basement near the stairs to the front of the building was found to be missing a knockout on the right side of the box exposing employees to live electrical components. Violation was observed on or about 10/8/2015.
