29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(i): Employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section, or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites. a) Joint Expeditionary Base Fort Story, BEQ Renovation, buildings B860-862: On or about 10/20/2015, an orange 50 foot extension cord plugged into a 115 volts wall receptacle used to supply power to a portable electric cork cutter was not protected with a ground fault circuit interrupter device or an assured grounding program, as a result employees were exposed to possible burns resulting from electrical shock. No abatement certification or documentation required.
