29 CFR 1910.243(a)(1)(i): Portable power driven circular saw(s) having a blade diameter greater than two inches were not equipped with guard(s) below the base plate or shoe which automatically and instantly returned to the covering position when the tool was withdrawn from the work: a) On or about 10/20/2015 in the outside storage area; where an employee was using an employer provided CRAFTSMAN Model 320 10861 circular saw (serial no. S056039594) on which the lower blade guard was broken off. The employee suffered serious lacerations to his leg. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
