The installed guarding device in place was not used to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during the operating cycle(s).    a)  DECA Oceana Commissary, Meat Department: On or about 10/26/2015 and times prior thereto, employee(s) cutting meat using a Hobart Model 6801 vertical Band Saw, continued to use the saw with unused portion(s) of the saw blade exposed and not guarded, in accordance with agency policy and procedures.     Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
